Terms and Conditions

1. Application

These Terms apply to all orders placed through the Badge King Online Form, B2B Portal, via email, and form part of every contract for the supply of goods between Badge King and the customer.

By placing an order through the portal, online form, or email, the customer agrees to these Terms.

2. Orders

• All orders must be submitted through the B2B portal, Online form, or Email.
• Each order must relate to one delivery address or site unless otherwise agreed.
• A valid Purchase Order number must be supplied where required.
• Orders are not confirmed until accepted by Badge King.

Badge King reserves the right to decline or amend any order where product specifications are unclear or incomplete.

3. Artwork & Name Lists

• Customers are responsible for ensuring all submitted artwork, spelling, names, and titles are correct.
• Name lists must be supplied in the required format (Excel or CSV unless otherwise agreed).
• Badge King does not proofread spelling unless a formal proofing service has been requested.
• Where artwork is supplied by the customer, the customer warrants they hold the necessary rights to use it.

Errors in submitted files will result in production delays.

4. Proofs

Where a proof is requested:

• Production will not commence until written approval is received.
• Approval confirms all spelling, layout and details are correct.
• Changes after approval may incur additional charges.
• Charges apply to all proofing and will be added to the Sales Order if not included by the customer.

5. Pricing

• Pricing reflects agreed contract or tier pricing.
• All prices are in NZD and exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
• Pricing is subject to change for future orders with notice.
• Badge King reserves the right to add elements to badge orders when they have not been added by the customer; please review the Sales Order and call us immediately if you think a charge has been added incorrectly.
• Freight and Shipping: All freight and shipping charges shown on quotations are estimates only. As courier costs can vary depending on destination, service type and courier pricing, the final freight charge may be adjusted once your order has been dispatched. As a general guide, our standard NZ Couriers next-business-day rates are $7.00 + GST for business addresses, $9.00 + GST for residential addresses, and $15.00 + GST for rural deliveries, although these rates may vary by region or shipment. We reserve the right to amend freight charges on the final invoice to reflect the actual cost incurred from our courier provider.

Customer-specific pricing overrides apply only to the relevant customer account and are confidential.

6. Minimum Quantities

Minimum order quantities may apply depending on product type.

Orders below minimum quantities may incur:

• A small order surcharge; or
• Be declined at Badge King’s discretion.

7. Production & Turnaround

Standard production timeframes are estimates only.

Typical turnaround:

• Printed name badges: 3 working days
• Resin badges: 4 working days

Turnaround begins once:

• Order is confirmed
• All files are received
• Proof (if required) is approved
• Does not include courier delivery time.

Urgent orders may incur additional charges.

8. Freight & Delivery

• Freight charges apply unless otherwise agreed.
• Risk passes to the customer upon dispatch.
• Delivery timeframes are estimates only and subject to carrier performance.
• Split deliveries may incur additional freight charges.

Badge King is not liable for courier delays outside its control.

9. Returns & Manufacturing Tolerance

As goods are custom manufactured:

• Orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.
• Returns are only accepted for manufacturing defects.
• Minor colour or positioning variations within industry tolerance are not considered defects.

Claims must be made within 5 working days of delivery.

10. Payment Terms

Payment terms are as agreed on the customer account.

Late payments may:

• Suspend portal access
• Suspend production
• Incur interest at standard commercial rates

11. Intellectual Property

All production methods, templates and internal tooling remain the property of Badge King.

Customer artwork remains the property of the customer.

12. Limitation of Liability

Badge King’s liability is limited to:

• Replacement of defective goods; or
• Refund of the invoiced amount

Badge King is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

13. Force Majeure

Badge King is not liable for delay or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
